About Me :D

I grew up in a small town in the Ottawa Valley where there wasn't much to do. Most of my childhood was spent outside or making up stories with my friends, creating our own adventures. A lot of my work pulls from the grand mystical feelings of my childhood when everything vibrated with the potential of being magical and plausibility wasn't a limitation.
When I was a kid I was extremely passionate about environmental conservation and reducing our collective carbon footprint, and it has followed me to this day. I believe the root of every solution is empathy, and so it's important to me that everything I make has some kind of gentleness to it. I believe that there can be beauty even in the darker aspects of life, and I want to help others find joy in the small, slow, and simple things around them.
Call me naive, but I hope I can make the world a kinder place.
